Business Centre offers flexible support for small businesses

A newly refurbished business centre is offering virtual offices for the first time in the Vale of Clwyd.

The move, by owners Turner Bros, is an effort to help new and small businesses in Denbighshire establish themselves in what can still be a tricky marketplace.

Gareth Turner, owner of Birch House Business Centre in Ruthin said: “Starting out in business can be a precarious time. My aim in refurbishing Birch House was to create somewhere in the heart of the Vale where businesses can thrive.

“We’re offering the same facilities you would expect in a city centre location, to help businesses people who live in the Vale of Clwyd save on a time-wasting commute, and bring the benefits of that business back into the community.”

Turner Bros, a respected building firm that has been operating for 50 years, spent £250,000 on refurbishing and extending the Hen Lon Parcwr offices.

The site now boasts a 670 square feet conference room, gym and onsite parking for around 30 cars. Offices range from one person only to inter-connected suites. All tenants have access to the conference room, gym, onsite IT support and other services.

Turner said: “Flexibility is very important for SMEs. We offer easy in and easy out terms on our serviced offices and the option to upsize as the business grows.”

Current tenants at Birch House Business Centre include IT firm Tengo Media, architects Matischok & Ross and Deeside Food Services.

Virtual offices start at £25 while serviced offices are available from £30 a week. The conference room is also available to hire to external groups. For more information go to: www.birchhousebc.co.uk
