A major UK distributor and a PVC-U and PVC-UE building products manufacturer have teamed up to offer customers the best in the business.
Bedford-based Window Ware, a distributor of hardware components and ancillary items to the window, door and conservatory industry has just re-launched its trade counter, with products by one manufacturer, Kestrel, proving a popular choice.
Window Ware’s managing director Rachel Attwood said: “We have over 5,000 items in stock and Kestrel is a strong part of that offer, with roofline cladding and finishing trims all made from PVCE-UE, available in white and woodgrain effects.
“We use Kestrel because it is well certificated and specified by many local authorities and housing associations.”
Kestrel works in partnership with its customers to offer one of the widest product ranges in the market place. It recently announced a £500,000 investment in manufacturing at its Lincolnshire factory.
Kestrel marketing director Simon Reynolds welcomed the news of good sales.

Window Ware product manager Richard Bryant added: “We have recently brought into stock Kestrel’s Kayguard which we know will be a strong seller, especially as the autumn approaches.
“It is simple to install and can be retrofitted and a key benefit is it comes in 3m lengths unlike the main competitor in 4m lengths – with an average 3 bed semi being 6m wide, the Kayguard offers less waste.”
Window ware’s new-look trade counter opened its doors at the end of April at its 36,000 sq ft distribution centre and offices in Bedford.
Featuring the new click and collect service, the trade counter has boosted Window Ware’s reach in the region and the response from customers has been extremely encouraging.
